WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026:
- Our website, https://wfrobinscpa.com/, has undergone a few updates to provide information to our clients in an easily accessible format. This includes a direct link to our online secure portal, Intuit Link, to simplify the login and uploading process for our clients. Our clients will also now have access to frequently referenced documents such as our general tax checklist or client update form.
- Our office will also be implementing additional fees to certain services that we offer as we have noticed the increase in supplies and mailings being utilized by clients in the previous tax season. For mailings, including copies of returns and the return of source documents, there will now be an additional $15 fee added to your final invoice. This covers the secure shipping, handling, and tracking of your documents via FedEx. Our office will also be implementing an additional fee for the request for a secondary copy of a tax return. The secondary copy will now be a $35 fee. This is only applicable to a secondary copy. Your initial copy (digital or paper) is always included in our preparation fee.
PROCEDURES FOR YOUR TAX RETURN! Our office offers a range of appointment types:
- In Office Appointment with Pre-Interview: Bring your tax documents to your appointment. A procedure that we have been practicing for decades which allows you to meet with a pre-interviewer who will enter your tax information prior to your meeting with Bill or Brian. Once the input is complete, and Bill or Brian has reviewed your return, your return should be completed as long as there is no missing information.
- In Office Appointment with No Pre-Interview: You will need to provide your tax documents ahead of scheduling your appointment. Once we receive your tax documents, your appointment will be scheduled for at least a week out to allow our preparers ample time to input your tax info. This may differ depending on our schedule availability. At the time of your appointment, you will meet directly with Bill or Brian to review your data and complete your return.
- Appointment via Zoom: You will need to provide your tax documents ahead of scheduling your appointment. Once we receive your tax documents, your appointment will be scheduled for at least a week out to allow our preparers ample time to input your tax info. This may differ depending on our schedule availability. We will send you a Zoom invitation the day before your appointment, and you will meet with Bill or Brian via Zoom to review and complete your return.
- Appointment via Phone You will need to provide your tax documents ahead of scheduling your appointment. Once we receive your tax documents, your appointment will be scheduled for at least a week out to allow our preparers ample time to input your tax info. This may differ depending on our schedule availability. We will email you a summary of your tax return just prior to the phone appointment. Bill or Brian will review this with you over the phone at the time of the appointment.
- Drop-off Without Appointment: This is how our office completes most of our client’s returns. You may submit your tax documents however you prefer, our office will input the info, follow up with email and/or call with any questions, and then call or email you with the final numbers for the return. This will generally be within three weeks of receiving your materials.
We have a secure mail slot located in our office door at the top of the stairs where you may insert your tax documents. It is accessible from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 3 pm on Saturdays. If you have an Intuit Link account, you can login with the following link: https://link.intuit.com/ and upload your source documents there.
IMPORTANT – YOUR TAX DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 13 IN ORDER FOR US TO GUARANTEE FILING BY THE APRIL 15 DUE DATE. OTHERWISE, WE MAY NEED TO FILE AN EXTENSION.

PAYMENTS:
We accept all forms of payment including cash, check, credit/debit cards, and ACH bank payments. Due to an increase in credit and debit card fees, we have added a 3.5% surcharge fee on all credit and debit card payments; however, you can pay with your bank account for no additional fee. We can provide a secure link once your returns are ready to be filed. Any outstanding invoices older than 60 days will be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee.
